Home to two of the countries greatest theme parks, there's far more to Orlando than just its ability to drive tourism. While you should have no problem filling anything up to an entire week with entertainment for Orlando's major attractions, there's no reason why the heart of the city should be neglected. With an assortment of nightlife options and party-centric venues, Orlando, FL is as much of a party city as its southern coastal sister, Miami.
NIGHTLIFE:
A good portion of Orlando's nightlife can be found along the stretch of "street" known as CityWalk within the walls of Universal Studios. Along this path is an assortment of live entertainment, restaurants, and some of the hottest nightclubs along the southeastern coast. At the Red Coconut Club, patrons can involve themselves in a mix of 1950s Vegas with a hint of Cuban and Polynesian flare. Live music keeps the energy high in this CityWalk-based nightclub while those looking for a milder time can take a seat at the Velvet Bar. Grab a refreshing cocktail and sit yourself down in this plush establishment for a nice dose of conversation with fellow locals and tourists.
Beyond CityWalk, though, there is a wide range of clubs and bars including those specific to Dance, Latin, Alternative, and Comedy. There's no reason why you shouldn't cut loose during your special event, and that's where locations like 11/12 Lounge in North Orlando and Howl at the Moon in South Orlando come into play. For something a bit more on the ethnic side, Northern Orlando is home to the La Nueva Carambola Night Club.
While it's a 50/50 crapshoot as to whether or not you'll actually hear something funny at any comedy club, club's like the Cameo and SAKs Comedy Club will, at the very least, provide for an amusing evening together with your gals. Kick back with your favorite cocktail and watch as someone works to keep you entertained.
SHOW:
For the best shows in the city, you'll want to find your way onto Universal Studio's CityWalk. On this 30-acre stretch, you'll be able to experience the unbelievable zaniness of the critically acclaimed Blue Man Group, who is always looking for a roar of laughter from the crowd. If you enter Universal Studios theme park at night, you'll be able to witness the nightly Cinematic Spectacular, which provides an awe inspiring fireworks display as well as an ever changing live show, such as a stunt performance with speedboats.
OPTIONS:
Known mostly for the tourism they bring in, Orlando's plethora of theme parks are also the perfect set of locations to have your bachelorette party. Outside of the sheer entertainment that the rides can bring, parks like Universal and Disney also provide the same entertainment that any venue within the city limits can. Though you may not find yourself within the adult atmosphere of a nightclub, various nightly events within the parks give you the outlets you'd need to party the night away.
DINING:
Food options within this city can be quite diverse and range anywhere from local delicacies to overseas extravagances. At Amura, you'll get a taste of Japanese cuisine with this restaurants assortment of sushi and sake. Use your bachelorette party to push you and your friends into trying new things as you dive into the concept of the California roll. For more local flavor, you can turn to Kres Chophouse, where you'll find nothing fresher than the steaks. From shrimp cocktails to a succulent Filet Mignon, Kres provides the perfect menu and atmosphere for you to celebrate your last evening as an unmarried woman.
Back on CityWalk, which, realistically, you could spend your entire bachelorette party on, you'll find yourself in close proximity of Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, where you'll be sucked into the world famous chef's Cajun style of cooking. You can also take your party to the fun-loving atmosphere at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville or the Rock 'n Roll inspired Hard Rock Café.
