October marks the beginning of the end of the Las Vegas Pool club season. Each individual beach club has a different closing date, but by the end of the month, all of the Las Vegas pools will be closed for the winter (Re-Open in March). Once you make it to October, the year starts to get a little more entertaining again. Halloween is a month long event as many clubs host costume parties throughout the entire month on the strip; but we are jumping ahead in the month a little.
Before you even get to Halloween, there’s Columbus Day, and because this is Las Vegas. You can bet on some big celebrations on the strip. Marquee nightclub is always down to celebrate a holiday, so expect a large bash to be held there. Hyde, with its Italian roots and villa-esque décor, would probably be a more fitting place to celebrate the man that supposedly discovered America. With the fountains of Bellagio in the backdrop, Hyde delivers a unique nightlife experience that plays host to an unforgettable great Columbus Day celebration.
Garnering more attention than Columbus Day, Halloween dishes out more parties than you can count on both hands. You can bet on every nightclub in the city to take advantage of the holiday and host costume contests. Starting as early as 2 weeks before Halloween, the festivities roll straight on through to October 31 st . Plan your costume early and try to take home the grand prize of best or exist costume at contests held at The Bank, Intrigue, Jewel, and Marquee.
