Roulette is a game of chance played with a Double Zero Roulette wheel that is marked with numbers 1 through 36 and "0" and "00". The numbers are colored red and black and the "0" and "00" are green. Color and number combinations offer a variety of wagering options. Guests may place wagers on the layout with their Roulette chips on individual numbers, color, or groups of numbers. Each Guest receives a different color chip to use and the value of the color is determined when the chips are purchased at the table. Each Guest will be required to have their own color as sharing of colored chips is not permitted. While Guests are placing their wagers on the layout, the Dealer spins the Roulette ball in the wheel. Bets may be placed until the Dealer announces, "No More Bets" and the red light shows on the LuminAR layout. When the ball falls into the winning number on the wheel, all winning corresponding combinations of the number will illuminate on the layout. The Dealer will mark the number and pays any winning wagers.
Each Roulette table has its own set of colored non value chips that must remain with the table. The letter in the middle of the chip signifies which table it belongs to.
European Roulette (Single Zero)Single Zero Roulette is also known as European Roulette and is usually found in High Limit gaming areas. It is very similar to Double Zero Roulette in most of the procedures for dealing the game. One exception is that the Roulette wheel that is marked with numbers 1 through 36 and only one "0". The numbers are colored red and black and the "0" is green. The numbers on the wheel itself are in a different order than the Double Zero Roulette wheel. Guests may place wagers in different color and number combinations, and Single Zero Roulette also allows Guests to make additional wagers that include Announced Bets, Call Bets, Piece Bets, Neighbor bets, and Section Bets.
All even money wagers lose only half of the original wager if Zero hits at the winning number.
1. The Dealer will go out to cut any wagers in half after clearing their hands.
2. As the bet is being halved, the Dealer will announce, "Zero Loses Half Stake."
3. If the bet can be halved without change being given, the Dealer will prove the bet so it is easily read, show an open palm, and then take half the bet.
4. If the bet cannot be halved once it is proved, the Dealer will bring out half the bet from the bankroll, verbalize the transaction, and take the original wager replacing it with the halved amount.
A Neighbor Bet is a five piece bet which covers five numbers with a Straight Up wager on each. It is the number declared and the two numbers on either side of it in relation to the wheel. A racetrack printed on the layout of the numbers on the wheel is used to facilitate the placing of neighbor bets.
An Example of Neighbor Bets: The Guest will declare, "7 and the Neighbors" and hand in an amount that is divisible by five. The Dealer will always assume the Guest wants the maximum amount that can be divided by five. If the Guest throws in a $500 cheque, the Dealer will announce, "7 and the Neighbors by $100". The Guest will now have a Straight Up wager on the number 7 and the two numbers of either side of 7.
Splits (Chevals) and Neighbor Bets, Corner (Carre) and Neighbor Bets: Each of these is a 10 Piece Bet. Examples listed below:
1. If a Guest asks for this bet they will announce, "5, Chevals and the Neighbors" The Bet will be "5" Straight Up x 2 Pieces, the Splits of "5", and the Neighbors of "5" = 10 Pieces Total
2. If a Guest asks for this bet they will announce, "20, Carre and the Neighbors" The Bet will be "20" Straight Up x 2 Pieces, the Corners of "20", and the Neighbors of "20" = 10 Pieces
3. If a Guest asks for a number which does not have 4 Splits or Corners (unusual), the Dealer will confirm, "With the extra Pieces on the Straight Up."
A Finale bet consists of three or four numbers that share the same last digit. Numbers 0 – 6 are four number bets. Numbers 7 – 9 are three number bets. The normal Finale bet consists of bets Straight Up on the numbers ending in the last digit. Guests may request "Finale Splits", "Finale and the Neighbors", or "Finale Complete" and lammer buttons will be used to signify the bet.
Section Bets:Section Bets are announced piece bets made by Guests. The center of the racetrack printed on the layout represents the four acknowledged section bets. The following Section bets cover different Sections of the wheel:
Zero Section (Grands Voisins Du Zero) is a Nine-piece bet consisting of two pieces on the 0/2/3, one piece on the 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 32/35 Splits, and two pieces on the 25/26/28/29 Corner.

1. The number of Pieces varies depending on the number which is selected and is referred to as "Stations". Stations refer to the number of ways the Guest can get to a selected number during a Piece Bet. The Stations are labeled as follows:
- 6 Station #'s: 1, 3, 10, 12, 13, 15, 22, 24, 25, 27, 34, 36
- 8 Station #'s: 2, 11, 14, 23, 26, 35
- 9 Station #'s: 4, 6, 7, 9, 16, 18, 19, 21, 28, 30, 31, 33
- 12 Station #'s: 5, 8, 17, 20, 29, 32
2. A Guest may ask for a number "Full Complete". Complete piece bets require a different number of units depending on the number selected by the Guest. The Dealer will calculate the number of pieces a number is by the following chart:
Numbers | # of Units |
0 | 17 |
2 | 36 |
1,3 | 27 |
4 thru 31 (column) | 30 |
6 through 33 (column) | 30 |
5 through 32 (column) | 40 |
34 or 36 | 18 |
35 | 24 |
"Complete Dozen", which covers all twelve numbers within the Dozen selected. The number of pieces varies depending on which Dozen is selected.
First Dozen = 136 Pieces
Second Dozen = 140 Pieces
Third Dozen = 120 Pieces
"Inside Complete Dozen", which covers all twelve numbers within the Dozen selected, with the exception of outside Line bets. For this bet every Dozen is a 100 piece bet. If a Guest is wagering on a Dozen Piece bet, they may make any additional Dozen bet wagers up to the table maximum.
Complete Dozens and Inside Complete Dozens are paid by calculating the number of "Stations" represented by the winning number.
For a $25 chip: number of Stations x 9 and add two 0's. For Example: The Guest plays "Second Dozen Complete by $25" and number 18 comes. This number has 9 Stations, so the payout will be 9 x 9 = 81 add two 0's, which equals $8100.
