What is Club Promoter?
A Vegas club promoter is typically a guy or girl whose sole responsibility is to get people into a club or pool. When guests enter the venue via the tracked guestlist, they are called "returns." Promoters get paid based on the number of returns. In many cases, management will pay more for female returns than male returns. Promoters can book bottle service as well, but for the most part, you will find them combing the Strip and trying to get patrons on the guestlist. On the other hand, hosts rarely, if ever, walk the Strip; they are typically in the office marketing and handling sales calls.
Independent Host versus a Club Host
Not all Hosts are created equally in this town. There are two very distinct types – the VIP Hosts who work at a club and the host who is Independent and have their own business. For the little respect the promoters get, their role in the Vegas club eco-system is vital. Without a crowd, you do not have a party. We have always believed if you throw a good party, the money will come. A good party has many components, good music and vibe, comfortable conditions, and most importantly, a fun and attractive crowd. The role of the promoter is to get the crowd to the club! On certain nights when ticket sales are strong, the management team might only want the promoters to recruit females. On other nights when the music talent is not a big draw, the promoter is called upon to flood the guest list with all shapes and genders.

The girl guy's role is to get girls to the club, organize the promoter table, and disperse girls to the paying bottle service customers. Typically, the girl guys have an extensive network on social media, and with other promoters, so they always have talent. They also use open-bar tactics and girl comps to lure in attractive females early. The Vegas clubs have it figured out.
