Pool party season in Las Vegas is finally upon us, and luckily, we have a new place to hangout this summer. Kaos Dayclub at the Palms Resort Casino recently opened its doors giving party-goers a new daytime destination. Located at 4321 West Flamingo Road, the 73,000 square foot dayclub offers everything you want in a Las Vegas megaclub, including numerous pools, fully-equipped cabanas, and entertainment by some of the best DJs and musical acts in the business. Kaos Dayclub is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 AM and 6 PM, with Saturday being the busiest.
Kaos Dayclub was designed by the Friedmutter Group Las Vegas, an award-wining design firm. In addition to two large main pools, the dayclub has numerous side pools. In fact, Kaos has more pools than any other resort in North America. In addition to having a lavish Greek-inspired ambiance, Kaos Dayclub also has an impressive focal point in the form of a 65-foot bronze sculpture known as “Demon with Bowl” which was created by artist Damien Hirst. Kaos was one of the final steps in the resort’s recent $690 million update by Station Casinos. The new venue has multiple levels with both inside and outside spaces.
When you arrive to Kaos Dayclub, you can expect to pay a cover charge unless you are on the guest list. If you’re a female on the guest list, you’ll probably get in for free. If you’re not on the guest list, the average cover charge cost is between $20 and $50. Guys on the guest list may get in free or receive a reduced rate. For men not on the guest list, the cover charge can range from $30 to $75, depending on the day of the week and the entertainment playing. Special performances and holiday events often result in a more substantial cover charge. Drink prices at Kaos start around $16.
For the ultimate dayclub experience, be sure to get bottle service. With bottle service, you and your group can lounge about in your own private cabana which is equipped with everything you need to relax, including its own private pool. You’ll also receive alcohol and mixers of your choice, delivered to your cabana by your own personal server. While all of the cabanas at Kaos Dayclub are great, try your best to rent the upper mezzanine bungalow with a pool for great service and views of the club.
The average wait time to get into the club is about 30 minutes to over an hour, depending on factors such as when you arrive. As Saturdays are the busiest, try to show up by 11 AM if you don’t want to wait in line long. On slower days like Fridays and Sundays, it’s usually okay to show up a little later. Be sure to dress in appropriate swim attire - no jeans, hats, jerseys, or speedos allowed. You’ll also want to avoid other items of clothing that could get you turned away at the door, such as cargo shorts, athletic wear, cut off or turn clothing, chains, baggy clothing, or see through bathing suits.
The music played at Kaos Dayclub usually includes hip hop and EDM selections. However, the genre of music can change depending on what musical artist or DJ is playing that day. There are a number of amazing artists who already have residencies at the club, such as chart-topper Cardi B, rapper G-Eazy, and electronic music artists Above & Beyond. However, no matter who is performing, you’re sure to have an amazing time at Las Vegas’ newest dayclub destination, Koas Dayclub.
