Haunted Halloween Parties
Las Vegas is no stranger to epic Halloween parties. Each October, the city gears up for some of the biggest events of the year. From adult costume contests to lavish balls, Vegas has its own way of combining the spirit of Halloween with endless partying. If you plan on being in Vegas for Halloween, make time to attend some of the area’s most popular Halloween party destinations. Here is our list of our top choices for Halloween parties in Las Vegas.
Downtown Pub Crawl
The Strip can get a little crazy on Halloween. If you prefer a scene that’s a little more tame, head downtown. Many party-goers prefer to crawl from bar to bar in their costumes to check out the atmosphere and enjoy discounted drinks. Unlike most other nights of the week, you don’t have to wait until it gets dark to get started. On Halloween, you’ll see party goers at the bars as early as 5 PM, and the drinking doesn’t stop until the weekend is over.
The LINQ Promenade
Let’s head back to the Strip where you’ll find The LINQ Promenade, a full on zombie apocalypse and Halloween extravaganza. This event is made up of three separate events, including The Zombie escape which opens on Saturday, October 8, the TRIQ, and a Halloween celebration spanning from October 29th to the 31st. During these three days, the LINQ Promenade offers music by DJ Miguel, stilt walkers, and a zombie LED drumline every hour. The over 21 crowd can also participate in a costume contest for the chance to win $10,000.
Ghostbar Dayclub
Like most major clubs in Vegas, Ghostbar knows Halloween. If you’re in search of an adults-only Halloween party, Ghostbar Dayclub is the place to be. Located on the rooftop, party-goers have the opportunity to dress in costumes and enter to win up to $5,000 in prizes. If you’re a local lady, admission is free.
Fetish & Fantasy Ball
The Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball is one of Las Vegas’ wildest parties, hosted at the Red Rock Resort, Casino, and Spa. The ball attracts more than 7,500 guests each year and has remained a staple in Vegas for more than 22 years. This year, the ball is on Saturday, October 28th from 10 PM to 4 AM. If you are over 21, stop by to enjoy the wide array of entertainment. Performing this year is Darude, DJ Soulman, and other top name talents.
MGM Grand Hakkasan Nightclub
Over the Halloween weekend, join Steve Aoki at the MGM Grand Hakkasan on Las Vegas Boulevard. Doors open at 10:30 PM for a night of drinking and dancing with a DJ set from Dim Mak founder Steve Aoki. General admission into the club is $20 for women and $30 for men.
ANTHOLOGY TOUR
John Carpenter, the man behind classic horror flicks like ‘Halloween’, ‘Escape from New York’, and ‘Assault on Precinct 13’, will be performing his collections of newly-recorded sound tracts at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on October 29th. With an October release of his third studio album, Anthology, fans now have the opportunity to see performances of the horror master’s classic movie themes and materials from the “Lost Themes’ albums.
