It’s been awhile since Las Vegas has welcomed a new gay nightclub into its midst. Apart from a few smaller venues like Flex Cocktail Lounge, The Garage, and the larger-scale Piranha Nightclub near the airport, Las Vegas was limited in places for the LGBTQ crowd to gather. However, the arrival of Iconic Nightclub has changed this. Iconic Nightclub is taken over the space formally known as Share which was a LGBT nightclub. However, it’s been a long three years since the space has sat vacant. On July 19 th , the newly-remodeled spot finally reopened.
Iconic Nightclub celebrated its soft opening on July 17 and 18 before opening its doors to the public on Friday the 19 th . There’s much to love about this new nightclub starting with its neon-pink sign at the doorway to the go-go poles designed for beautiful dancers. The nightclub spans two levels with action in every direction you look. The owner and operator of the new nightclub, Adam Simmons, has spared no expense when it comes to quality entertainment. Simmons is offering crowds everything from stilt walkers to drag and musical performances. More than a nightclub, Iconic is set to be an amazing show that you won’t want to miss.
Simmons is not new to the Las Vegas entertainment industry and he has used his experience to take Iconic to the next level. He even hired Cirque Du Soleil dancer Jawkeen Howard to create dance numbers for the club’s musical and drag performances complete with spectacular attire and song changes. While these productions are just 5 minutes long, they are complete with backup dancers and costumes to ensure it’s a show you won’t soon forget. These drag shows can be seen nightly at both midnight and at 2 AM.
You can also expect other great entertainers to grace the stages of Iconic. Kourtney La’Roux is just one of these entertainers who have stopped by to dance and lip-sync to songs like “Bootylicious” by Beyoncé. Around the platform are a number of tables and Victorian-style chairs where guests can sit and enjoy the show. If you’re willing to make the splurge, Iconic also has VIP seating around the stage area which offers a great view of the entertainment. In an upstairs room, go-go dancers perform on platforms beneath a chandelier which projects lights onto the stage below.
One of the biggest allures of the new Iconic nightclub is the upscale Craft Cocktail Bar. This new hot spot allows for intimate conversations and a respite from the heart-thumping music that plays on the lower level. The nightclub is also open to private events and various gatherings. Don’t hesitate to plan your next party there, whether it’s a birthday party or just a night out with friends. Finding Iconic Nightclub is easy. It’s located at 4636 S.
