Atwood in New York City is one of the area’s best-kept secrets. Located in the heart of Midtown East, the innovative Kitchen and Bar Room offers patrons a large and sophisticated space to drink, dine, or host large groups or private parties. The venue has an ageless feel with reclaimed wood and natural brick mixed, along with steampunk décor. No attention to detail has been spared, from the seasonal hand-crafted cocktails to the delicious bites found on the diverse menu of brunch, dinner, and desserts. Stop in for an Atwood Kitchen Burger, followed by an East Side Cocktail.

Opened in 2015, Atwood is run by Daniel Rieger and Evan Rosenberg. With help from Gil Bouhana of cocktail bar Milk & Honey, they developed a unique beverage program to satisfy their new clientele. In the kitchen, chef Brad Warner, the former Chef de Cuisine at The General, serves up a variety of mouthwatering dishes. The concept was simple. The owners wanted it to be dark, textured wood with brick, which can be hard to find in the area. Atwood Nightclub can now be found on 2nd Avenue in New York City and is open from Thursday to Saturday from 5 PM to 4 AM.
If you’re in need of a new NYC hangout, give Atwood a try. The space features 110 seats and is essentially half restaurant and half bar. While the venue is best known for its craft beer, the mixologists also serve up other delicious concoctions. If you’re interested in snatching a table at Atwood, you’ll want to call ahead of time to make a reservation, as seats fill up fast. Looking to host a private event or celebration? Atwood also offers private dining and venue rentals. Stop in to see all that the upscale restaurant and bar has to offer.
