1OAK Nightclub Las Vegas: The newest hotspot to hit the Las Vegas nightlife scene is called 1 OAK and it will replace the old Jet nightclub at the Mirage hotel casino. If the name sounds familiar, it is because of the 1OAK nightclub located in New York City. The popular 1 OAK NY is teaming up with the Light Group to bring the ONEOAK name to Las Vegas. Light Group previously operated Jet nightclub which was closed in mid-September to make way for the new nightclub. 1 Oak nightclub Las Vegas will most likely keep the intimate design of the NYC hotspot while utilizing the larger square footage that the Mirage has to offer.

1OAK Las Vegas will not only provide that exclusive New York feel, but it is sure to offer up the best sound experience money can buy with a top-of-the-line sound system that will be the best in Las Vegas. Light Group also has the expertise when it comes to video displays and visual effects and the combination of sight and sound at 1OAK nightclub will leave club-goers breathless. To make best use of all the Hi-Fi equipment, 1 OAK Las Vegas will employ the top DJs from around the world to keep the party hoppin' all night long.

Even the 1 OAK name is unique in that it stands for "1 of a kind" and the Vegas hotspot is sure to be that with its styling that only a Vegas/NYC connection can create.     I bought the pre-sold ticket for pitbull performance on friday night. They didn't care whether we paid 100 or not ... Let us being in wrong line forever! We had to complain for an hour to get in... and it was so packed it was unable to dance on dance floor. There were so much losers just standing still on dance floor. I would not go back to this club forever! I was thinking to get table for my birthday party..but forget it! I rather go to Marquee or XS.     I actually had the pleasure of going to the 1 of a Kind Nightclub in New York City. While I thoroughly enjoyed the "lounge" atmosphere at that location, the Las Vegas iteration brings just a bit more to the table. Consider 1OAK Las Vegas a Club-Lounge with everything the NY location had plus more. The decor is the same rustic design and makes for some good conversations. The night I went, the venue was utilizing both rooms and the space looked and seemed fairly massive. The club was packed (as signified by the 2 hour long wait outside the door), but there never seemed to be a space issue once inside.     I don't know what everyones problem is with 1OAK. It's not your typical Las Vegas fare, which actually makes it that much better. It's far less pretentious and obnoxious to get into, and the music is at a level where conversation can actually happen. The drinks were a little pricey, but hey, when you go to Vegas you expect to drop a couple of bucks, right? The best part about 1OAK was the atmosphere and decor.     I actually just got back from 1OAK last night and checked to see what the reviews were. I came across this site and saw 2.5 stars?! Who rates these places? 1OAK is definitely worth the 4 stars I'm giving it now. Great atmosphere, talk-worthy decor, and one of the best drink menus I've ever seen at a nightclub / lounge to date.     Nice venue, good music. Unfortunately the rudeness of the staff killed the atmosphere in my opinion. The staff was literally running around, running into people which was very akward. Getting into the club nobody made eye contact and all presented too cool to be bothered by the club guests. It made me realize how important customer service is when you are working in a service profession.
